Supporting Teachers

Making out-of-classroom learning a reality is sometimes challenging for teachers, this high quality ‘off-the-shelf’ resource significantly reduces preparation time.

Suitable for in-depth projects, or one-off lessons, the outdoor activities take account of different localities and can just as easily be undertaken in the schools grounds as in the nearest green space or park, in a nature reserve or the wider countryside. A series of activities are also provided for classroom-based work, pre and post visit.

In addition, the wide range of stimulus materials, including the Countryside Code animation, the Countryside views video-shorts, the posters and image library, cater for all learning styles and provoke lively discussion and follow-up work.
